Monetary donations will help make an important impact on the lives of thousands of South Texas children. You will help empower them to achieve success by improving school readiness through research-based curriculum and hand-on learning activities.

The Education Service Center, Region 2 (ESC-2) does not possess tax levying or bonding authority. Its operational funding is derived from state grants, federal grants, and fees for service. The ESC-2 is seeking support for the Early Scholars Academy from both public and private funding sources, including this general website public appeal. The ESA includes existing discovery areas: Polar; Ocean; Tropics; Plants; Wonderful, Amazing Me; Animals; Community; Earth; and Space, as well as the in-progress development of a technology-based area called "Geektopia"--where robotics, computer programming, and 3D printing are explored.

In the case of major donations or sponsorships, individuals or corporations may designate which discovery areas to support.

Your donation is tax deductible. The ESC-2 is a 501(c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code. The ESC-2 is also classified as a public charity under sections 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the ESC-2 are deductible under section 170 of the Code, and the ESC-2 is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under section 2055, 2106, or 2522 of the Internal Revenue Code.
